This class meets or exceeds the Maryland State requirement for obtaining your MD HQL.
Class includes Rage time, targets, and 50 rounds of ammunition.(Eye and Ear protection can be provided, upon request. limited quantities)
The combination of the 2 classes is designed specifically for women who have the desire to learn the fundamentals of proper weapons handing, situational awareness, types and caliber of weapons and their ammunition. Learning the (basic) proper stance, grip, sight alignment, sight picture. This is the class for you.

Fundamentals. Weapon nomenclature. Some DO's and Don'ts. Sight Picture/sight alignment. Grip, Stance, introduction to one hand shooting, weak hand shooting, Hot reloads, flash light support. Clear unsnap grip and draw. Ammunition's . Cleaning, storage, Safe and legal transportation.
Pistol 2 - Advanced Pistol
$150.00 4hr. with range
(2 hr classroom- 2hr range split days available)
Advanced fundamentals. Weapon nomenclature. Confidently address stoppages. With quickness clear unsnap grip draw. Multiple shots on multiple targets. modified Sight Picture/ alignment. Grip, Stance. One handed shooting, weak hand shooting, Hot reloads, flash light support. Ammunition's . Cleaning, storage, Safe and legal transportation.

Home Defense

Developing a personal & home protection plan is a key component of not only preparing for how we should (or might) react if confronted by a violent crime, but also how we might avoid violent crime in the first place. Within this lesson, Harvey explains that developing a protection plan is about much more than becoming proficient with a firearm or writing up a home invasion plan. It’s a plan that must encompass awareness, avoidance, and preparation, so that we’re less likely to find ourselves in a situation where we have no other option than to use our firearm, rather than more likely.
I come to your home, evaluate outline and plan a realistic defense plan. Including practical "Defensive Hardening"

This renewal class is a complete reminder of understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will have a renewed feeling of confidences to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
